She is more than just another singer: She is a vision, an appearance. I met her for the first time in August 2004 where she performed at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, England. She was not even 20 years old and I just couldn't believe how such a fragile girl could possibly have a voice like that. The Liverpool crowd was as stunned as I was and nobody could believe his ears - nor his eyes. During the following Beatles conventions she became a steady part of the annual Liverpool Beatles Festival.

It took me 3 years until I dared to ask her if she might be interested in common recordings. And she agreed immediately. We started writing and recording the same minute and just 8 weeks after the first idea 14 tracks were recorded.

The album "From Russia With Love" will be released in June 2008. It's supposed to sound different to current productions of popular music.
You will hear real instruments, played by real human beings. No samples, no drum machines, no rap, no house.
Instead there are mandolins, sitars, tons of guitars and pianos, real drums and real percussian -
and an extraordinary voice! All songs are written and performed by Alyona Yarushina & Mike Wilbury.
